Meet The Team
Grace - Founder & artistic director
A.C.B.A - C.I.C.B, Keep Kids Safe In Dance.
Grace is a classically trained ballet teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. Trained in the Cecchetti method here in Ballarat she has also studied Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater and has recently completed her Barre Teacher Training Certificate.
After successfully completing her Cecchetti Ballet examinations including her Intermediate major examination (hons) Grace then obtained her Associate Teaching qualification in 2014.
Throughout her teaching career Miss Grace has had the privilege of teaching at some wonderful dance schools in Ballarat and surrounding areas where she has coached many students in successful competition performances as well as teaching some beautiful students who have gone on to dance professionally.
Grace brings a wealth of dance experience and knowledge that she has thoroughly enjoyed passing on to her students at EDC over the past 5 years.
It is a dream come true for Grace to now run her own dance studio and she can't wait to meet you!
jenn - head of pre school & teacher
Bachelor Of Science - Education, Progressing Ballet Technique Cert.
Jenn began dance training at the age of 3 in America. Throughout her 22 years of dance experience she trained in the Balanchine Method of Ballet as well as studying Pointe, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary. Jenn was part of her Dance Schools private Dance Company for 6 years in which she competed and performed all over the state whilst earning awards and recognition.
Throughout her time as a dancer Jenn has been selected to perform in many productions such as The Night Before Christmas and Alice in Wonderland as well as attending master classes with The Russian Ballet Company, The Richmond Ballet and The New York City Ballet.
She has trained with two NRL cheerleading teams as will as directing and teaching at a studio focused on gross motor movement, ballet, tap and gymnastics for students ages 6 months - 12 years in the US.
Miss Jenn has a husband, son, daughter and an amazing extended family both here and abroad. She is currently doing CRT work at local schools and loves being able to combine her passion of dance and teaching here at Elevation Dance Co.
jess - teacher

Jess began dancing at the age of 3 and hasn't stopped since! Jess comes from a family of performers with her mother and great grandmother both being known for their passion for theater and dance.
Classically trained in the Cecchetti method, Jess has also trained in jazz, tap, contemporary, pointe and musical theater as well as successfully completing her Cecchetti examinations from Primary to Intermediate level. She has also completed Units 3 & 4 in VCE dance as well as having had the opportunity to perform in dance competitions across the state.
Miss Jess has a broad range of teaching experience including teaching swimming at a local swim school while she was studying and is currently working with a local organization that helps support parents who care for children with a disability.
Jess has a huge passion or dance and can often be seen taking on three Zumba classes a week. She is excited to be apart of the EDC family and share her love of dance with her students.
